江蘇省蘇北人民醫(yī)院又名揚(yáng)州大學(xué)附屬蘇北人民醫(yī)院、南京醫(yī)科大學(xué)揚(yáng)州臨床醫(yī)學(xué)院。醫(yī)院前身是美國(guó)浸禮會(huì)1900年創(chuàng)辦的揚(yáng)州浸會(huì)醫(yī)院，1994年被原衛(wèi)生部評(píng)定為江蘇省首批三級(jí)甲等綜合性醫(yī)院，先后獲得全國(guó)文明單位、全國(guó)衛(wèi)生系統(tǒng)先進(jìn)集體、全國(guó)改革創(chuàng)新醫(yī)院、全國(guó)改善醫(yī)療服務(wù)示范醫(yī)院、全國(guó)醫(yī)保管理先進(jìn)集體、全國(guó)巾幗建功先進(jìn)集體、全國(guó)醫(yī)院后勤管理創(chuàng)新先進(jìn)單位、江蘇省十佳醫(yī)院等榮譽(yù)稱號(hào)。
